Mask-ne: Mask acne brought on from wearing a face mask – yes, it’s a real thing. And many of you, like I am, might already be facing this issue.
After scrambling to find products that would suit my sensitive AND combination skin, I came across local vegan super food skin care brand, Sigi Skin. They only have 5 products in their range as they believe that it is easy for anyone to achieve healthy skin without a wide range of products. Their products are free of toxins, and created without parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), DMDM Hydantoin, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, triclocarben and polyunsaturated oils (PUFA).
And of course – with everything good thing comes… the price.
Their products range from $38 to $82 per bottle, but given that they are so highly-raved about, I decided to try their products out for a month and to provide you, my readers, 100% honest feedback as to whether they are worth it, and if I would swap my current equivalents for them. Plus! Actual before/after photos of results.

The Day Of Surgery
Before the day of my surgery, I was given instructions not to drive on the day itself and to come without any perfume or makeup (although eyelash extensions were fine). I was also advised to dress warm and shower beforehand so that I could immediately sleep once I got home after.

I first started wearing glasses at the age of 10, before being introduced to soft contact lenses when I was 13. However, they’ve always been uncomfortably dry, especially during windy days.

Modern + minimal = #housegoals
I’ve actually considered moving to Scandinavia because of one thing – their interior decor. Not kidding. Their white x beige combo and crisp-edged furniture are enough to make me spam like everything and keep them tabbed for when I’m able to afford my own place.
However, that was before I discovered Singapore-founded Hip Van – an online furniture and decor store offering chic, quality designs at a fair price. Think marble tables, concrete lamps and even vintage table flip clocks – this place is your Pinterest feed in real life.
Perhaps I won’t have to move after all!

I didn’t grow up watching musicals.
My very experience was Les Miserables on Broadway, NY at 21. Since then, I’ve checked quite a few off my list. But growing up, there were always a certain few on constant rewind to rewatch on VCR tapes (remember those?) – Annie, iconically remembered as it’s my mother’s name, was one of my favourites.
So naturally, I was over the moon when Elizabeth and I were invited to attend the Gala night of Annie The Musical at Marina Bay Sands, alongside a few local celebs.
Thanks to @Baseasia, my readers got an exclusive 30% off your tickets – find out how! Continue reading “Annie The Musical: In Singapore!”
